ReplyDeleteIt's just a pitty the holiday season is nearly over..sigh..
I will have to get a differant effect for every season !
Paul.
How to remove it again ?
ReplyDeleteHi Vigdis,
ReplyDeleteIn your dashboard click 'Layout'.You will see the gadgats like followers and about me etc.. Unless you gave it a title the snow effect will be a Html/Java script gadgat so it will have the title Html/Javascript.
You may have 2-3 html/javascript gadgets just click edit below each untill you find the one with the code above and click remove.
It's sad having to remove the snow, only 12 months too go we can add it again.
Paul.

Great Job,
Paul.
When I install this, I just get a horizontal line of flickering white dots above the gadget. I used it last year with no trouble, but I'm at a loss this time! Any advice?
ReplyDelete@ Heather - You must be using a template from the Blogger template designer and this wont work on those templates I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteI have a post with similar effects here that will work with the template designer templates - http://www.spiceupyourblog.com/2010/11/falling-christmas-objects-blogger-snow.html

@Anonymous Facebook and Twitter dont allow you to add any script to your profiles in afraid.I guess you could use it on Myspace if you have a profile there.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like a good script for sites... can I expect a little more from you... I would need a dynamic which would change its color after certain time...
ReplyDeletethanks ...
Thanks for sharing this nice post.I will keep your article in my idea.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to use this code but add your own image? Like a very tiny white dot to mimick the original snow code?
ReplyDeleteI doesn't work properly on my blog. Hm.
ReplyDeleteIt does "let it snow" however it increases the width of the blog dynamically - if you scroll horizontally it just gets wider and wider.
I liked the subtle "flakes" but this doubles loading times :(
I cannot seem to make the falling snow work using either method. Paul - can you help?
