Posted : Sunday, May 05, 2013| Post Author : Paul Crowe | 18 comments

In this tutorial we have a new way for posts to be viewed on your blogs homepage, namely infinite scroll.Infinite scroll has been a popular trend in web design for some time and now you can have it on your blogger blogs. On Blogger we have on the home page by default ‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ buttons to load a new page of posts. Now this tutorial takes another step with adding Infinite Scroll to Blogger blogs.

This is user friendly and will cut down on load time.So I have the demo and a quick add button for you to add it to your blog in seconds.

This script comes with thanks to Manki’s Weblog, you can check out the demo below. In the demo I have the home page set to show three posts, when you scroll to the end of the posts you will see the link to “Load More Posts”.If you stay scrolling more posts will load automatically.

Add Infinite Scroll To Blogger

To make it as easy as possible I have a ‘Quick Add’ button below.

Simply click on the button and you will be brought to the add gadget page, choose the blog you want to add it to then confirm.

You can move the gadget to the bottom of your blog on your layout page as the positioning of the code is not important.

Quick Add Button :

And that’s it, really simple.Check out your blog with infinite scroll.Check out more of our Blogger tutorials here.

  5. Hi Paul, Infinite scrolling works fine. For those who have read more (automatic) button, this jquery not going to work fine because a post loading with full page content. Suppose 5 post are allowed on main page, 6 th post want to be load using jquery. Its loading with full post content.. :/ How can i explain http://oi43.tinypic.com/52cdvp.jpg this is what Happening
