A top tip to promote your blog and grow your readership is using a custom domain.

Basically instead of using the blogger sub domain www.Yourblogname.blogspot.com
you use www.Yourblogname.com.

When i created this blog i started with the domain www.spiceyourblog.blogspot.com
but shortly after changed to
www.spiceupyourblog.com.

The reason everyone doesn't make the change is simple domains cost money.But you can get a domain for free.

OK it wont be www.yourblog.com it will be www.yourblog.co.cc but i still think its a valid option that's deserves consideration.

Using a .co.cc domain will separate your blog you blog from the now millions of .blogspot.com blogs and the URL is shorter and more unique.

Even though you are using a new domain your readers wont get left behind as the blogspot address will divert to your new domain.

www.spiceyourblog.blogspot.com will still bring you to this blog even though i changed.

To be honest finding an available .com address is near imposable as most are being used.You will have noticed more and more blogs and websites using others like .net and .info

Remember you can get all these tips sent directly to your email and stay a step ahead.Its quick easy and of course a free service provided by Google just fill in the form below the post.

So can you find a good free .co.cc address ?

There is a good chance that if your blog address is lets say www.JohnsCarBlog.blogspot.com you will be able to get JohnsCarBlog.co.cc.

Of course if your blog grows you can still make the change in the future and buy a .com or .net domain your .co.cc will still work as well.

Whats the catch ?
There genuinely is no catch they dont look for anything and the domain will work the same as a domain you buy.I guess they hope that if in the future you do decide to buy a domain you will buy it from them.
